Pros

- Lots of autonomy. You will be your own manager once you're up and running. - Office was nice/ catered lunches/ snacks and beer fridge. - Benefits exist but are not great. - Unlimited PTO. - Smart people worked here.

Cons

- No structured personal growth opportunities/ alignment between company and individual career objectives. You'll need to forge your own path. - Compensation is below market value. They seem to only hire non-bay area talent now because they don't want to pay a living wage to SF locals. - No synergy between departments. Everyone is remote so its hard to connect with coworkers/ anyone you don't work with on a daily basis. - Toxic culture - this stems from People Operations + inexperienced Sr. management. - Extremely high turnover rate. I've never been at a company for so short and seen so many people leave or join and then leave shortly after. -Managers/ team leads are not experienced/ qualified to manage people and most don't know what their employees are doing everyday to keep the business moving. Most are loyal to the executive staff, not their subordinates. -Product team never considers existing customer base. Every improvement/ XDN version is only for new customers, while 90% of their customers are on older product.

Pros

Super smart people, great product, lots of growth potential. The culture is very friendly and supportive, lots of opportunities to contribute and develop.

Cons

No major cons - just a less structure than in larger organizations, with the good and the bad that comes with it. Definitely a place where you are expected be as autonomous as possible.

Pros

Moovweb is incredibly empowering as a company. They have a ton of amazing client relationships (300+ brands) and the founders give employees free reign to deliver value to those clients as they see fit. As a product leader this is one of the most exciting opportunities I've ever had. The market has clear needs, the company has relationships with all the folks I need to talk to - and I'm left to discover and build what will deliver the most value to them. I also very much enjoy the founder's level of expertise and vision in the ecommerce space. We have a very strong tiered strategy with current industry leading products, emerging products, and over the horizon bets. This is very rare for a mid-size company to be able to executive effectively on. Last, but certainly not least, the team is strong - folks push hard to get to the right answer on issues that no one else in our industry has solved. The founders have done a great job in attracting people who like solving universally unsolved problems. The people are also fun - I regularly enjoy having co-workers over to my house or going to events together. I genuinely look forward to seeing my team every day.

Cons

There is a distinct lack of structure and process at Moovweb. The company is in a constant state of growth where our systems are a step behind the reality of our size. It can be good in that there is basically no bureaucracy/politics, but you're definitely on your own to navigate all the prices of the organization.
