    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Moovweb in February 2020.

    Interview

I interviewed with something like 7-8 different people over a number of weeks, some of them more than once. This included a couple of tech interviews and a coding project. I met with the CEO, and several members of senior management. At every step along the way, the feedback was extremely positive. I was told to expect a written offer several times, then nothing. I kept checking in, and I was then told they were considering me for two different positions and they were putting together 2 different offers. Then nothing again.

Finally, the recruiter called and said they were going in a different direction. OK - no problem, I get it.

A couple of weeks later the recruiter called me back and said they were reconsidering me. He set up another round of interviews, which I did. Again, great feedback and was told verbally that an offer was forthcoming. I waited maybe another week before the recruiter called me back and said they were going to pass.

I completely understand wanting to pick the right person for the job and not choosing me if they felt like I wasn't the best fit. Stringing me along like that for nearly 2 months isn't cool. Telling me multiple written offers were imminent is not cool.

I liked everybody I spoke to and felt that, in person, they were very professional. They need to treat candidates better, however. I don't know if my experience is unique, but the rollercoaster of getting excited about an offer more than once and having the rug pulled out from under you is not something companies should put candidates through. This doesn't even take into account the amount of time and effort wasted on both sides.

    Senior Project Manager Interview

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Moovweb (Philadelphia, PA) in July 2019.

    Interview

The whole process from initial interview with recruiter to being informed they were seeking out other candidates took over four weeks.
I attended three interviews across several weeks. Initial interview was with a recruiter who screened me regarding my experience in software development and agile processes. Second interviewer was mainly interested in if I had the personality and was a cultural fit. We had a very informal and colloquial conversation at the end of which I was told I was being recommended to move on to the next round. The third interviewer was primarily concerned with my past experience and level of expertise in software development processes. I did not perform well.

Several weeks later after no word and after attempting to follow up with the initial recruiter, I was finally emailed informing me that they were moving onto other candidates.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Moovweb (San Francisco, CA) in September 2018.

    Interview

As an out of state candidate, it makes it truly challenging to get an equal chance to interview vs a local candidate. But, this was not the case with Moovweb. It all started out with a super down to earth internal recruiter who has spotted my application on LI. He was nice, genuine, and very easy going. He asked me the basic qualification questions to ensure I am a fit to go to the next level. Next, I was invited to a Zoom (video interview) with what would be my future manager, and next was a panel of 5 video interviews with the rest of the cs team and the CEO himself. Everyone I interviewed with made to be an easy and relaxed video interview. Overall, the whole process tool about 3+weeks and it was a great experience. They have truly educated me about what they do VS asking behavior questions that companies pull off the internet. I highly recommend this company and their interview process must be benchmarked.

    Customer Success Manager Interview

    Interview

Both interviews happened via phone. First interview was with the recruiter, who was super nice; the second interview was with the director of the team. The interviews happened pretty quickly. They were both pleasant and asked good questions. They also noted their program for advancing women in tech., which I found super ironic since they have no females in director (leadership) level positions.

    Application

    I applied in-person. I interviewed at Moovweb.

    Interview

Very unprofessional!!! I got interviewed for QA role and went through phone interview and then on-site. Everything went well. I was hopeful. Then no feedback for 3 days. I did not get any email. I asked them then they told me that they are busy with something and asked to wait. I waited one week. Even after one week no reply. Then I contacted them again, this time they told me position is on hold. They did not even try to inform me when I was waiting for their reply. This was unprofessional and annoying!

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Moovweb in March 2017.

    Interview

Took a couple of weeks. End up not getting an offer but feedback provided made it clear that the last 2 hours I spent on a code project was a waste of time. They need to tighten up their cycle to avoid wasting interviewees time.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Moovweb (New York, NY).

    Interview

I apply online. The senior recruiter sets up an interview with the hiring manager, almost one hour on the phone for the week later. Same day of the interview, at night, he contacts me to announce they want to have me on-site. For more than one week, I am after a back/forth conversation with the recruiter in order to get the interview scheduled. I keep changing interviews/meetings around to accomodate their request. One day, almost after three weeks from the first contact, they notify me they do not want to meet me because they are considering other candidates.

Dec 19, 2016 – Senior Manager of People

Hi, this is Marie, the Director of Marketing at Moovweb.

I'm sorry to hear you felt negatively about our interview process. Thanks for letting us know--I've been on the receiving end of lots of "no thank you" emails that surprised me and I don't want to put others in that position.

Rescheduling our phone our was my mistake--I apologize for the inconvenience it caused you. I'd be happy to provide feedback around your candidacy--you can contact me through the job board in Jobvite or directly via email if you would like.

    Best,
    Marie

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Moovweb (San Francisco, CA) in June 2016.

    Interview

Applied online. Got invited to phone interview with hiring manager. Then received invitation for on-site with hiring manager and one of the execs. After interview sent out thank you email to hiring manager. Week later contacted office coordinator (who initially set up my phone and on-site interview) and asked whether I'm still being considered for this role or whether there's any feedback to be shared with me. Was told that next step would some product related exercise and that hiring manager will reach out to me shortly. Had been waiting for another week but had not received anything so reached out to hiring manager. No response. Never heard back for them.
