No Compensation Loyalty for 20+ Year Service - Senior Project Manager NOV Employee Review

I was laid off in November. I'm not angry about the layoff itself -- I'm sad but also understand the nature of business. HOWEVER, I am quite pissed off that I was not allowed to retain my bonus. Having been a loyal employee (with stellar performance reviews) for over 20 years I would think the least NOV could have done is honor a pro-rated bonus payout. Payouts are typically made in Feb the following year.
