Cons
I have been working at Nagarro for 3 Years now, and regrettably, my experience has fallen short of expectations. While the company undoubtedly has its merits, there are several significant issues that warrant attention and resolution. Cons: Uncertainty in Job Stability: Nagarro suffers from a chronic lack of transparency regarding job stability, a concern shared by many employees, myself included. The duration of projects and the likelihood of being placed on the bench remain shrouded in ambiguity, leading to heightened anxiety and diminished morale. Furthermore, while on the bench, the treatment received from HR and management is disheartening, especially considering the contrasting regard bestowed upon us during the hiring process. False Promises Regarding Work Flexibility: Nagarro has espoused the benefits of Work from Anywhere (WFA) and Work from Home (WFH) arrangements, yet the reality falls short of expectations. Ongoing uncertainty surrounding remote work policies has left employees feeling disillusioned. Additionally, HR's insistence on scheduling client interviews for positions located far from employees' current cities, such as my experience being forced to interview for a client in Bangalore while residing near Delhi NCR, contradicts the promised flexibility and adds undue inconvenience. Understaffed and Disengaged Management: The organizational structure at Nagarro is marred by small teams with minimal oversight. My own team comprises just two members, lacking a designated team lead. Furthermore, the project manager exhibits a concerning lack of interest in project progress and client communication. This neglect not only hampers productivity but also reflects poorly on the company's commitment to delivering quality services. Poor Reward System: The reward system at Nagarro is a significant source of discontent among employees. Delayed salary hikes and pay cuts under the guise of organizational bonuses are well-documented grievances. However, the issues extend beyond mere financial matters. Despite investing considerable effort and dedication into my projects, I consistently find myself overlooked for recognition and appreciation. The recurring "Solid Citizen" rating fails to acknowledge the value I bring to the table, leaving me feeling demoralized and disinclined to invest further in Nagarro's success.
