Is this your company?

Good times, bad times. - Manager National Marrow Donor Program Employee Review

Pros

The mission. You can save lives. The pay is well above average. You can possibly work from home depending on who you are, how you perform and who you know. The people are generally nice. Projects with large budgets. Some upper management/VP types are friendly. Open to improving technology. Training budget for individuals. They finally rolled out paid maternity leave in October, 2019.

Cons

CEO has good intentions, but it feels like the mission to save patients comes with a significant disregard for the health and mental well-being of his employees. Frequent re-orgs and departures. Senior leadership is hired from the outside which results in inconsistent direction for teams. High rate of change and turnover due to the aforementioned issues. Exquisitely bad paid time off program. Parking is nonexistent. Senior leaders to-date are resistant to adapt to the needs and values of the modern workforce (sick days, flex-days, preferences on remote work, delivering recognition, fostering loyalty, etc.)

Pros

Benefits, culture, colleagues, mission, transparency, research, work-life balance, executive leadership, ERGs

Cons

Really only parking I guess? But the majority of company is hybrid or remote.

Pros

Good benefits. There are good bonuses, good PTO, a retirement account, and health insurance. The pay is low, but the benefits and the fact that the job is really easy make up for it.

Cons

The job is boring. There's little room for growth in the company. You will not learn much. Management might treat you like a child.
