Pros

Freedom, easy going and friendly co-workers. Allowed you plenty of time to do other things because you are out in the field everyday. If you have another source of income then this is a good option to make extra money each month. You could make around an extra $ 2500 per month here without having to go to an office everyday. But you will have to work hard to keep that extra $ 1500-2500 per month here.

Cons

Very little pay. You will make $ 1550 a month in salary. The job is to go out and knock on doors of small to medium sized business owners and see if they are interested in lowering their light bill. Quite often the customers could care less about saving $ 10.00 a month on their light bill so there is no urgency in working with you. You will have to get used to getting blown off and eye rolls from prospects when you arrive to bother them the 3rd time in 3 days. While there are some salesman making 50-60K they represent maybe 5-10% of the sales team. The turnover is unbelievable. I saw more faces come through there than I could count in the 5 months I was there. If you can make it 3 months you are eligible for benefits but that will take a good piece of your paycheck. Part of your pay is in gas cards if you meet a certain quota. Very few people meet quota to reach gas cards or "bonus". Overall stay away unless you absolutely need 1500 a month guaranteed.
