Pros
Flexible with nice fellow workers. Interesting technical responsibilities. My subordinates were cooperative and helpful. My boss was a very pleasant intelligent fellow.
Cons
Driven by the cuatomer/manager, the emphasis was on reducing manpower with the unrealistic idea that many tasks could be turned into virtual work controlled by the computer in the boss's office. Forward thinking but not presently effective. And it would result in the loss of experienced employees who had been in place for decades.
