      Pros

      Challenging work in the public interest Excellent IT infrastructure make it easy to get job done (I've seen much worse support!). People are cooperative but communication with executive management seems strained.

      Low pay, limited telecommuting, arrogance of experts

      Pros

      Everything. Management and co-workers were extraordinary. Work was rewarding. Had many opportunities to learn and lead our customer in technical directions.

      Cons

      As a subcontractor, there was a few weeks delay in getting paid, but that was resolved over time.
