Pros

High Salary, decent benefits, some great people

Cons

Terrible management. The people in charge and supervisors have no business in their job roles. The culture is one of fear and reprimand. You can never do anything right. You are always punished, berated, and I dare say it is emotionally abusive. They cause PTSD for the same people there to treat it in the patients. The work load is unbearable and unreasonable. There is no reward for hard work and all accomplishments are quickly forgotten. The supervisors are unstable and like to cause drama. They treat the patients terribly. They will berate them, have favorites, and make highly unethical decisions. There is no understanding of the client or the therapists lives. There is a lot of gossip and everyone will stab you in the back. No job security with people constantly quitting or getting fired for no reason. They micromanage every aspect of you life. Imagine having to take 15 minutes PTO because you will be late from traffic! It's so degrading.

Pros

I have been privileged to work for Northside Hospital for the past five years, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. During my tenure, I have benefited from the organization's commitment to employee growth through its annual internal promotion policy, which has allowed me to advance within my current department. One of the aspects I value most is Northside's support for work-life balance and professional development. While working here, I was able to begin my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program from the ground up and am on track to graduate in December 2026. The flexibility and encouragement provided by the organization have played a significant role in helping me pursue my educational goals while continuing to contribute as an employee. I was a full-time employee for most of my career with the organization and recently transitioned to part-time status to accommodate the increased demands of my nursing program. The support and understanding shown by management throughout this process have reinforced my appreciation for the company's employee-centered culture. I am grateful for the opportunities, professional growth, and support I have received over the past five years.

Cons

None that I can think of right now
