Pros
Great name on your resume. Don't expect though that when you move to a different company you will be able to normally communicate with your "best" buddies from PIMCO
Cons
Competitive environment. If you are not a manager's protege it is not always clear what direction to follow and what are your expected daily duties. Be careful and document every step. Sometimes just doing it takes more time than to actually do work.
