Pros

Once you've reached a certain experience level, you can structure your day without being micro-managed. Upper Management wil trust you to go about your day as you choose as long as you produce revenue. Get past the first 2 years, and you will have opportunity for increased pay and remote work. Work/life balance is fantastic.

Cons

First 1-2 years will be stressful and very difficult to break into the industry. This job drastically improves with experience and tenure. You may have to work "after hours," but it can be done from home. You need to be available 12 hours a day to be a great effective Account Executive.

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
