Pros

Paid time off, pretty good benefits. Career advancement can happen fast. There is plenty of money to be made and they are always looking for ways to help you earn extra money. I don't know if the new CEO is still there but he had an awesome game plan and he was dedicated to making the company better as well as policies. I really liked him. Eric is his name I believe.

Cons

My experience, yours maybe (hopefully) better! During training in front of the new CEO everyone seems like they care and want to help u succeed. When you hit the floor they expect you to know every single detail from training. Well the floor walkers do help you, but a few of the 3 have bad attitudes. If you ask a question you may get a look or a deep breath. When you are in Abay ( nesting, first hit the floor) certain calls you are suppose to transfer calls to the higher tier. Some of Tier 2 doesn't want to be bothered. They will give you info on how to address the call as a posed to taking it. If a customer asks for a certain thing you may say no, they ask for a sup. you transfer the call and Tier 2 says yes. Well then I feel like why did I have to say no if they can have it? I've only encountered to nice supervisors on the customer service side Yann and Kay who are two of the nicest people I met overall at Pods. Attendance is a big issue if you have any kind of issues please know about them beforehand because points will rack up quickly and they will give you a point if you are a minute late. If you have to leave early due to any kind of emergency you are subjected to points. If you get robbed make sure you have your police report or you will get points. I'm not over exaggerating either that really happened! Other then that it's a great place to work. Oops I forgot about the customers who you really want to help but the locations across the U.S. who have drivers who are over worked can't or don't want to help. Or the locations that just tell you flat out no they aren't going to help the customer and dealing with there negativity. Now that's not all locations. There's a location in San Diego or San Francisco that has an awesome manager from NY and in NJ this one manager allowed me to conference him and the customer to help explain things to the customer. You are a middle man between the location and the customer. If you have patient then this can be a great job. I just dealt with a lot of headaches from management because if they are having a bad day they will take it out on you. As if you don't have a life outside of work. I just don't deal well with attitudes. Customers are already rude, and that's fine. They want to know where there things are but co workers should check issues at the door!

Pros

People know the brand but that’s it

Cons

This is the worst environment I’ve probably ever worked in, constant lies, awful culture where some people work remote others don’t, director level and above treat everyone else with zero respect. The pay is so below average it’s alarming. The amount of leaders who don’t know how to develop their employees is staggering and their are C level folks who have never hired in their careers before moving into the role.
