The retirement benefits pay off if you can handle the lack of diversity, ‘50s gender roles, and good ol’ boys structure - Anonymous employee Performance Contracting Employee Review

Pros

The retirement program is amazing. The vacation policy including sabbaticals for certain positions is also a plus.

Cons

There are a very select few who move up at PCG because they excel at their job. More commonly the people being promoted are lazy and ineffective, but are extremely skilled at either who they are related to or have made friends with. The retirement benefits contribute dramatically to a very strange environment where normally intelligent and talented people are not rewarded unless they know the right person. Behavior towards gay people is atrocious. An extremely small segment of the office staff is anything but white. Women are almost always found in administrative roles. The reward is rich if you can stick it out, but if you have any morales it will be extremely challenging.
