S9 at Perkins Eastman: Great experience for architect designers - Architect Perkins Eastman Employee Review

I worked for Perkins Eastman Studio 9 for 2.5 years. The environment and coworkers are great. I had extremely good design opportunities for a young designer. The team leaders of S9 are very experienced and on top of every project. They work and communicate constantly with the project team. They allow the team to explore different solutions to respond to clients' needs aspiring to produce outstanding solutions. In 2.5 years I had the chance to work intensely in the design of two very important projects in New York, two iconic projects that will transform New York when build. During this time, I also had the chance to collaborate in a variety of projects that where in different phases of the architectural process. Even if some of the collaborations where for a short period, the team leaders make you participant of the project, so as a designer, you can take the most of it (many of the projects are great! towers, residential buildings in manhattan, cool shopping centers, etc). I left S9 because I had to move out out of the country. If not, I will have stayed with them for a very long time. If you show enthusiasm for work, they will give you extraordinary design opportunities.
