The environment itself was the problem. • Leadership often focused on minor procedural details while ignoring bigger systemic issues that affected both staff and clients. • Feedback or concerns were met with defensiveness or closer scrutiny rather than collaboration. • Safety and operational standards were not always upheld, and raising these issues didn’t seem to result in meaningful change. • Communication from HR and management felt inconsistent, with policies changing frequently and without clear reasoning. • Overall, the leadership culture seemed to prioritize control and optics over trust and empathy, which steadily eroded morale
