The worst company I ever worked for - Customer Care Purchasing Power, LLC Employee Review

Pros

Fun Fridays. Although depending on your department you have so much work to do you'd be looked down on if you attend. But of course the manager attends every week and looks at you crazy if he sees you there.

Cons

Stone age processes, unrealistic expectations like mandatory OT 7 days a week and the do it or else attitude, the manager has no clue on the scope of work and really doesn't seem qualified or experienced, the manager talks down and makes jokes about the team to people in other departments, the manager would sometimes yell at employees on the floor in front of the entire team. HR does nothing about this and takes the manager's side. Even the CEO seemed to have checked out after they did a big layoff of some pretty tenured people across several departments.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your brief tenure at Purchasing Power. Regarding your reference to recent departures from the Company, it is understandable that there would be some confusion from your perspective but rest assured, we do not take employee concerns and comments lightly. While the outcome may not convey this sentiment, should you have similar concerns with your future employers, I encourage you to speak with your HR team and leadership directly about your concerns. While it was difficult to part with 3% of our workforce early in the year, this was the first and only time in our history where we've had to do so. More importantly, this decision was largely driven by technological advancements and process improvement. Thankfully, the outlook for our future is brighter than ever. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Great people who work very well together. Lots of great tenure which creates ample opportunities to learn from experts. The now former CEO (Trey) is a genuinely nice person who takes every opportunity to engage with people at all levels. Most people are very easy to work and collaborate with. People are always willing to help.

Cons

Very heavy workloads that are not sustainable long term, it's challenging to be effective and strategic in your role when competing projects/tasks consistently pull you in various directions. The organization thrives in chaos which can be difficult to acclimate if you are accustomed to getting things done as there is little to no time to focus to actually execute. There are countless hours/days spent on tasks or unmeaningful work, often repeat work that consumes your time that leave you absolutely drained at the end of the day. The level of micro management and task delegation is something like I've never experienced.
