Pros
- One of the easier universities to get a CS UTA position, provided that you have good grades in the subject and are proactive enough to maintain communication with the professor who taught the course. - Will have pay raises the longer you TA for CS courses.
Cons
- Pay starts out low while living costs are becoming higher. At least you are in West Lafayette, IN, and not the big cities, so you still fare better than most (cost-of-living-wise). - Choose the course you want to TA for wisely, not just the materials, but who teaches the course also matters.
