Pros
QBE continually provided catered lunch rooms which would have a range of selected wraps, pastries or fruits/ salads that were generally served with cold juices. 10/10 with this.
Cons
Toxic managers? High work loads with no realistic deadlines? Poor work life balance? High stress levels? That’s only naming a handful full of Con’s. Joining QBE I was looking forward to working for a large organisation only to find out within weeks of being in this role how disorganised and reactive QBE’s business structure is. Tensions are always high because as a business does not work proactively and is only reactive to ICARE’s feedback. Another 2 staff members left at the same time due to the level of toxicity in the workplace. Safe to say, I have never come across an organisation that is run so poorly. If this sounds like your dream job you can kiss your mental health away and any form of social life.
