Pros

Same job as an account manager at branch. You get extensive experience selling wide range of banking products and providing the right financial advise. You open accounts, refer mortgages, open credit cards, increase limits, RSP, TFSA , phone banking etc. This position is very different from customer service, infact your job is 90% sales and advise and 10% customer service. Great training, great experience, too many people!

Cons

Too many people leads to lack of growth Bad hours Too strict with online time Management doesnt care about career growth of employees here

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
