If you’re in a leadership role the pay and benefits are ok. Meeting quality people, staff and customers is a plus.
Cons
It’s exhausting working 60-70 hours with no overtime pay and very few days off ever. There was no appreciation or rewards for busting your behind. Bonuses are promised at the start however corporate changes sales plan throughout the month just as you’re getting close to making your bonus, making impossible to make bonus. Having to host cult like values meetings was the worse, mostly because the field leader doesn’t live the values yet expects staff to. Having to lift and move 200 pound plus furniture was impossible. Trying to hire and keep Associates was very difficult because the pay is low with no benefits or commission, not to mention it’s the toughest job ever. Trying to convince someone to take a job unloading trucks filled with massage furniture isn’t easy. The field leader was abusive and very negative. She created a very hostile and toxic environment by getting staff to snitch on each other.
