Pros

You get to waste time and be a part of a daily ceremony praising and honoring RHs great and mighty leader Gary Friedman!!

Cons

If you don’t love talking about how much of a visionary and genius Gary is, you may not like it :( If you are an efficient worker and finish your work before the end of the day, you will be rewarded with even more work that has no relation to your actual job description! Got moved to a different team? Have fun taking on even more work and not getting any additional compensation! Worked here for 15 or more years? Congrats!! You’ll definitely be laid off soon and you’ll be “taken care of” with a generous 2-week severance package! Just started? You’ll also probably be laid off soon because the their lord and savior, the CEO enjoys buying private jets and yachts with company money disguised as business expansion! If you don’t believe me just look at the last year where they have had 4 rounds of layoffs due to “the economic climate” They don’t care about you but love to say they do, it helps them sleep at night. And I am sure Gary sleeps well wherever he is! His company owned yacht, private jet, other private jet, or mansion dubbed “RH Guesthouse”.

Pros

Trauma bonding with your team.

Cons

Leadership has no pulse on reality. They put business need and dictator-like decision making in front of work/life balance and what’s right. Instead of using the plethora of experience on their teams to help create and execute fair and equitable solutions to grow the culture and business, alike; they force positional changes, demand that serving staff supplement the income of other support positions and refuse to uphold any of the values and foundations the culture is allegedly built around.
