Pros
Innovative company, smart, amazing and caring people, creativity is abound and there is encouragement to share ideas, no matter what your position. The HR team is improving and really working to create a positive and engaging environment. Gary Friedman is brilliantly creative, smart and can be very inspiring (see also cons below).
Cons
Work-life balance is quite challenging in some, but not all departments, it just depends where you are. (Maybe) expect to be connected 24/7 - the workload and "culture" can be all-consuming. An excessive amount of meetings makes it difficult to get the actual work done. People are always late to meetings because they're running from their last one. Very unproductive. Gary Friedman is brilliantly creative, smart and can be very inspiring but this can come at a price: arrogance and unrealistic expectations which can result in a culture that pushes people and teams to unhealthy limits.
