Pros

It is a remote work company with a new policy of unlimited time off, yet your mileage may vary. They also have a lot of cash to waste.

Cons

As noted in other reviews, this company sells social-emotional learning products to school districts *and* an employee wellness app, but does not promote those products internally, nor do they take those lessons seriously in the least. In my first few days of working here I witnessed a higher-up verbally abusing her subordinate. A positive internal culture is barely-existent and only flows from the "bottom," not top-down. There wasn't a single company-initiated employee activity to ensure wellness and community. The people who need these basic lessons in empathy, respect, and even self-care were the higher-ups. It's actually quite surprising how none of the lessons rubbed off on them. Ruling via terror and greed was the rule for one particular leader, and this behavior was accepted by at least one C-suite executive. Notably, my experience was rife with extreme, insufferable micromanagement and impropriety. To illustrate --a manager was upset when their workers had to use the restroom after hours in a meeting and wanted to deny the bathroom break! That should communicate a lot to any potential employees. Very little emotional maturity and stability. HR and managers could not even promise to respect a simple request to not be yelled at or talked down to. It was mind-boggling. Be warned. How can a company succeed in the long-run if it cannot build the culture it sells to others?
