      Rice offers a flexible schedule, autonomy in my job duties, and a reasonable salary for a nonprofit/educational institution.

      Cons

      Opportunities for advancement are minimal. My department is very flat so there is not much room to go up. Opportunities to develop people management and supervision skills are negligible.
