Pros
Co-Workers are great! We get good benefits (4 weeks time off, Winter Break off, and various Holidays) They contribute 7% to retirement (no match, just a gift) and you get to keep it if you stay at Rice 3 years.
Cons
A LOT of work. Many jobs are consolidated into one and you will have a lot on your plate. Raises are also very minimal so please negotiate your salary when you get hired. There are opportunities to move up at Rice, thankfully, but you will need to network and "prove" yourself. Overall, I am happy there.
