Pros

- Culture of a collaborative working environment among the Executive and junior manager level employees (AKA Trauma Bonding) - Decent healthcare benefits (but taking MC, especially for multiple days, is AT YOUR OWN RISK. Beware of piled up workload/working while on MC, and side-eyes and snarky comments from management when you are back)

Cons

- Work-life balance isn’t great - Remuneration and financial-related benefits were pitiful - During times of lean manpower, workload can be near-unmanageable - Speaking of manpower, HR is slow to hire and replace despite a 2-month notice period, and when they do, sometimes the quality of hire is just plain poor - Management is poor and toxic: 1) plenty of infighting 2) distribution of workload isn’t exactly fair, which is where office politics, being on good terms with your manager, and being able to “articulate and express” how busy/stressed you are comes in 2) gives little direction to executives on workflow and vision, and sometimes just leaves them to get their head bitten off by angry clients 3) prioritises new business over existing clients

Pros

PTO and 401k match decent

Cons

Leadership quality has declined significantly in recent years. Juniors must absorb additional work and compensate for gaps in communication & organization because senior members are all but absent. High performers are rewarded with more work rather than meaningful recognition or advancement opportunities. Being a strong employee just meant receiving a disproportionate share of the workload and not being listened to when change would have been beneficial for my growth. The company is heavily focused on AI at the expense of critical thinking and professional judgment. The emphasis feels misplaced and creates additional rework rather than improving efficiency. Morale is low, turnover is high, and teams are stretched thin. Hiring has not kept pace with turnover, resulting in increased workloads for remaining employees. The culture has shifted noticeably from a collaborative environment to one where many employees feel unheard and disengaged.
