Pros

High turnover means you will encounter a lot of different characters, potentially make some great friends. Workplace is very laid back and comfortable, in a large open office space.

Cons

Entry-level management is both underqualified and underpaid, leading to low motivation and poor collaboration. The work environment is often filled with toxic gossip and drama, largely due to excessive downtime and a lack of productive ways for managers to stay engaged. The most challenging aspect of the role is handling frequent and serious HR incidents as one of only a few supervisor on site—ranging from medical emergencies to mental health crises. Employee turnover is extremely high, with weekly disciplinary actions and frequent terminations after mass hirings. This constant instability creates a stressful atmosphere and occasional team outbursts. Given the intensity and responsibility of the position, the stress is only justifiable if there are clear opportunities for advancement—which, unfortunately, there are not. People will just not do their job and skate by, or they will leap at the first opportunity to take a higher paying job elsewhere. Almost no one stayed for more than a year in the role, and basically everyone that left, went to another employer - virtually zero promotions within the main location.

Pros

I had an INCREDIBLE boss who was understanding and supportive, as well as other coworkers. It was a great college job!

Cons

Pay could be better, but for a college job, it's not horrible.
