-You are easily hired. They hire whoever, as long as they have they requirements, which are more than minimum.
Cons
- You get the base they want. Yes, you accept this in the beginning in their conditions,but what you don't know yet is that with the salary you get sometimes it is imposible to survive. Difficulty for a base transfer to a cheap place to survive. -Salary. You earn as you fly, while in the sky. Half of the time you work it is not paid. -Lack of information. Taxes, sick payment... Whatever you have may doubts about, they will never help you. -They don't care. That is their strategy. the more you hate your company, the better, so you will finally quit and they can hire another member which will pay a 3000 course. That is the reality. -The contract: You are contracted by Workforce/Crewlink. They promise you a Ryanair contract after one year, where you finally get paid a basic salary among other "benefits" (rights). The reality is that after 8 years, people still don't have the Ryanair contract. -They try to get the maximum benefit from your abilities without paying them (e.g. languages spoken). -0 career opportunities: Promotion is not an option. You can not promote to purser, "Nº1", unless a few exceptions. If you are, for example, in an Italian or Spanish base, forget about promoting, even thought if you deserve it after 1000 years. Maybe in their preferred bases, (e.g Dublin, Stansted), and only maybe, you can be lucky. -Sales: They need people who is able to play a circus onboard; sales are everything. But still, commissions can be paid or not and they can be ridiculous; but if you don't sell enough, you will have meetings to explain your poor performance. -They try to have a friendly appearance, which from the inside it is instilled by fear and punishment. If you are not friendly enough, meeting where somebody will scream to you, where that somebody has been screamed by another somebody. if you don't sell enough, meeting. If you call sick because you are half dying, more of the same, even though the only one that loses it is you, as you don't get paid that day. -Basic rights, as a swap of a duty with a colleague is considered a privilege instead of a right. -You don't always get paid correctly. Actually, if there is a mistake, it is always that you get paid less than what you should. It is a funny coincidence. It can be your commissions, flight hours payment, your annual leave... You must keep a permanent eye on the fact they they will try to cheat on you all the time.
