Pros

Fantastic co workers all around.

Cons

Used to love my job, really loved it. 6 months ago could not have imagined ever wanting to leave. Company used to be super flexible, fantastic work-life balance, interesting work, superb culture. There was a close-knit sense of community, many people are friends outside of work. It all changed in a matter of days. We were all forced back to the office, pretty much full time, even though the company was doing better than ever while we were working remotely. Hybrid work now allowed. It was made very clear to everyone, that the CEO does not care if employees leave. Besides the new developments, it is really hard to get a promotion, there is not a lot of room for growth. Pay is way below market, which was previously offset by the awesome culture.

Pros

In general, SRAM is very easy going and it's an environment that isn't confrontational or competitive. Leadership is focused on employees and is very approachable. I feel a lot of security in my job and that I'd have a job here forever if I choose to stay. There's a lot of professional autonomy.

Cons

For being a larger company, there's no structure for teaching employees how to do a job or process. They are trying to create some structure, but most processes are half-baked and not detailed enough to actually do it correctly. Leadership is really nice, but is lacking the "leadership" qualities that facilitate departments sharing information, best practices and growth. If I want to grow and learn, I need to seek out my own training.
