Pros

- There are some amazing professionals fighting for this company, who deserve a lot more. - The company can turn a corner, but perhaps only under new direction.

Cons

Sadly, SaleCycle is a shadow of a company that it once was, and there are too many cons that I can provide as examples. Instead I will highlight the most prominent events I have witnessed during my tenure here: - The removal of some of our most competitive benefits, such as remote working, which has made finding talent and retaining our current talent difficult; - Lay offs from both the French and English offices, some of who had only been working at the company for a few months; - Promises were made that layoffs were not going to happen and three months later many people were let go; - Shortly before promising layoffs were not on the horizon, pay rises were delayed by 6 months with no reason given, encouraging staff to remain. Many who stayed, with the promise of pay rises were let go; - After waiting 6 months, negligible pay rises were given, with many employees given no pay rise due to absurd criteria despite having been some of the strongest contributors; - The news of the lay offs was given by other members of the leadership team while the CEO cowardly stayed silent on the call; - Seen some of the highest turnover of staff the company has ever seen, with the closest competitor being the COVID pandemic; - Consistent loss of revenue month-by-month, quarter-by-quarter, with no change likely to happen any time soon; - CEO receive the lowest employee rating scores of any of SaleCycle’s CEOs, with consistently low employee rating scores internally; - Absurd number of KPIs set by the CEO, which has resulted in next to none being completed; - Massively reduced the technology function without any concernable plan on how to replace the staff quicker than we are losing them, and how to fix the gaping hole in knowledge that is left behind; - When the CEO was first given the role, he asked whether we’re a SaaS, B2B or “something else” company. The CEO is one of the longest serving employees at SaleCycle, which makes it extremely worrying that he’s asking that question now; - Ridiculous management structures that caused a lot of in-fighting and politics with no means of change; SaleCycle is not a company that you want to join right now. The leadership team has lost the trust of the company due to their actions, and there’s a clear lack of direction that is very apparent with our current CEO. The truth is, SaleCycle has lost its competitive edge. Both in its ability to hire and attract talent, and in the industry. You will not receive a competitive salary. You will not get competitive benefits. You will not have good career prospects. You will not get a good work life balance. Under the current CEO, and his direction, you will not get anything worthwhile working here because he has absolutely no idea what he's doing.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We’re sorry to hear that your experience at SaleCycle is not meeting your expectations. We value all feedback. Regarding salary reviews, we acknowledge that the process was delayed for two months last year due to organisational changes. Salary reviews typically occur in April, but they were completed in June, with increases backdated to April. We are sorry to hear that the review process and criteria did not meet your expectations, and we are committed to making this process as transparent and fair as possible. As for remote working, it continues to be part of our benefits offering at SaleCycle. We operate a hybrid working model, allowing employees to maintain flexibility while collaborating effectively with teams. We understand that recent changes, including some difficult decisions around layoffs and restructuring, have been challenging for both our employees and leadership. We understand that such situations are never easy, and we have worked to handle them as professionally and respectfully as possible. These decisions were not made lightly, and we are committed to improving communication and transparency, especially during times of transition. We appreciate the hard work of our employees, many of whom are going above and beyond, and we are continuously exploring ways to improve the overall employee experience. Please feel free to reach out if you wish to discuss your feedback directly. We’d be happy to take the conversation offline and address any concerns you may have.
