I have been working at SaleCycle full-time for more than a year

    Pros

All about the people, really a great culture and an interested startup / scale-up to be working for! Lots of challenges, very different than big structures organisation, but plenty of opportunities too, speaking with digital / head of eCommerce on a daily basis, very interesting sector, etc. + flexible working hours, based in Manhattan, Unlimited Holidays, etc.

    Cons

Lack of processes in some areas, room for improvement like in any company

I worked at SaleCycle full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Honestly None- look at all the past reviews and you will see how this company actually treats there employees.

    Cons

-They put half the team on a performance improvement plan and instill fear into you so that you hit your quota so you don't get fired. -Literally no training at all. They give you a script and say start calling. - Pay is horrible and there unlimited PTO is just a scam so they don't have to pay back the days you didn't use. -Every time you close a deal they "switch up" the commission structure so you lose a great deal...

I have been working at SaleCycle full-time for less than a year

    Pros

-Flexible work hours -"unlimited" vacation -WeWork office perks -Good people

    Cons

-Non existent training, sink or swim type atmosphere. -Unrealistic goals -Rotating door of people -- hoping that somebody will eventually step in and find success while having no training to gain knowledge of the product and how to effectively sell it. -Everyone is walking on eggshells wondering who will be next to be let go. -Stressful atmosphere that is far from team-oriented.

    Advice to Management

Insanity: Doing the same exact thing over and over again expecting different results. It clearly is not working and has not been working, change and serious reevaluation is needed. Provide new workers with the proper product knowledge and sales tactics that have been proven to be effective in this market over time rather than giving them a computer and playbook and saying "figure it out"

    I worked at SaleCycle full-time

    Pros

There are many great people at the company (although less year by year) who are passionate about what they do and a great resource to learn from. The benefits are good and, if you negotiate well, the pay can be above market value. Work life balance is achievable with flex hours and unlimited PTO. They have a tendency to not hire the best folks (at least in the US) so many will complain about being trapped but if you work...

    Cons

Product hasn't evolved very much and market is super saturated. This doesn't put sales in a great position to begin with but management's rigid adherence to short term objectives makes things much worse. A great example is the insistence on pushing deals through on the last day of the month even though they don't get paid until the campaign goes live. Can't tell you how many bridges were burned, unnecessary price cuts...

    Advice to Management

Everyone likes to point the fingers at sales but it's management that has failed to ever create an environment where people can thrive. There's been less than 5 "successful" reps since they opened the original US office years ago. They've easily fired 10-15 times that many. Possibly more.

      Pros

Nothing to say - just don't take this job

      Cons

Unattainable goals, industry flooded with solution, clueless management, Do not take this job under any circumstances. The free health insurance and "unlimited" vaca is not worth it. So many better opps out there. They will fail. Do not go down with the Titanic. Just look in SF at all the past reps.

I worked at SaleCycle full-time for less than a year

      Pros

Friendly coworkers. Excellent benefits and open working hours.

      Cons

Disorganized crm system with leads that have been called more than 30 times each. I had barely any training and didn’t understand what exactly to do until a couple weeks later. Sink or swim type company. Everyone is running around with their heads chopped off trying to hit an unobtainable target. Low salary Bad office morale

      Advice to Management

One day you will wake up and realize that it’s not the employees fault that the office is failing. By then it will be too late and your reputation will already be tarnished.

      Cons

The training is non-existent, no one at the office actually knows what the product does. If you are a half way capable human being then look for another sales role. The sales team averages 1 sale every 2-3 months. I’m getting the hell out of here as soon as I can!

      I worked at SaleCycle full-time

      Pros

There are zero Pros about SaleCycle.

      Cons

Everything else. Product is not competitive, companies can do it in-house. It is a revolving door of people because the Management team doesn't know what it means to nurture and build, just hire and fire. The atmosphere is terrible, everyone is always walking on eggshells because they know someone will probably get let go that week. Pros

5 weeks vacation from the start is pretty awesome Free snacks and drinks. People during my time at Salecycle were cool

      Cons

Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this company as it is far and away the worst company to work for. As a Business development rep the quota is a joke and nobody is hitting it. You can expect to make at most 3k a year in commission but 1k is more realistic. Within 3 months of employment here the Sales team had turned over 70% of its employees including every single manager. Give employees time to ramp up. Quotas set in place are way to high and there’s no commission incentive. Make things right. When you make a promise to an employee actually follow through.

      I worked at SaleCycle full-time

      Pros

Benefits are great. PTO is almost too good to be true.

      Cons

I would never advise someone to work for this company, unless they have absolutely nothing else they are capable of doing. I have read many reviews, and all seem to say the same thing about management lies. They will falsely promise you almost anything just to get you to stay in your average position or take the job. This company performs on a sink or swim basis. But, if you are sinking there is little to no help;...
