Pros
There are some great people leads at this company at all levels from upper management through the engineering teams. Had some rough patches with the newest version of the software, but it is so close to being a really great product. Overall, I had a great experience working at Shape and learned a lot surrounded by smart people. - High caliber of people: there are some truly impressive folks at this company - Engineering-centric culture and fairly flat structure - The work is interesting if you have a web dev/networking background or are interested in security - Great location in downtown Mountain View
Cons
- Communication between teams could be better - Nature of the security industry makes it tough and probably impossible to ever reach a market-dominant position. The flip-side to this is there will always be demand for the product. - Benefits are not quite at the level of some of the bigger tech companies like Google, Facebook, Apple, etc...
