Pros

None I could find. Nothing.

Cons

Shell Business Operations - SBO Bangalore mass hired some employees without skills even from third class companies, you can judge that by attending their interview. SBO Bangalore is far from a product company. Full of service mentality people. Hence you know the company policies. They bother more on non work aspects, for e.g. what time you come? Have you completed 8 hours? No body asks you if you completed your work. Unless if you have a lobby/come from your managers company, your skills will not be respected even if you are a top performer. You might be asked to leave if you do not become part of the politics/lobby. It is the last company on our planet for Technical employees. They are far from reality when it comes to technology. Do not go by the x digit figure you see on paper. Bonus is big chunk of CTC, in-hand is less. You won't get bonus if you leave the company before yearly cycle. "Stay away from most plagued area in Shell, Downstream Retail." And specifically FPS Team - Fuels Pricing Team. HR's are typical service mentality people listens to managers. No brain, no questioning ability. Most importantly, If you want to destroy your career please join Shell. You are good decision makers, please see rest of the reviews and then decide your career. Few colleagues are typical characters, without knowledge of anything, Strictly ZERO knowledge of anything. Wasted my career here.

Pros

There are many diverse roles and opportunities within the company, which can make it easier to explore different career paths and avoid feeling stuck or bored.

Cons

Company lacks clear direction and has significant internal disorganization. Employees are often expected to take on multiple roles without appropriate compensation or support. Despite consistently being a high performer, I left feeling undervalued — after covering two roles, there wasn’t even a simple thank you upon departure. To make matters worse, eight months after leaving, they are now claiming I owe over $5,000 in PTO that had previously been considered settled at the time of my exit. Overall, the experience left a very negative impression and highlighted serious internal process issues.
