Pros

Free food / coupon and free dog biscuits.. what a funny right...

Cons

No work life balance Biased line managers 13 hours a day of work is the expectations from the line manager... HSSE just on the papers... Appraisal (IPF) % depends on SPS (one parameter is you rate your line manager) rating given by employee to his/her line manager. If you screw your line manager SPS which happens in the month of July/Aug time. Results of SPS will be declared in September/ Oct... And line manager will come to know who screwed his/her rate in the team and that person (team member) yearly IPF rating is targeted by line manager (revenge)... Biased everywhere. In future, Shell Rmz Ecoworld is going to becoming Operations center and all strategies execution will be either is Houston, Hague, London.

Pros

Early career engineers are given significant ownership and exposure to complex operational challenges. Strong focus on safety, technical development, and collaboration across disciplines. Opportunities to work on high-impact projects, interact with senior leadership, and contribute to decisions affecting major assets and infrastructure.

Cons

Workloads can be demanding, and priorities can shift quickly based on operational needs. Decision-making processes can be slow due to organizational complexity, and geographic mobility may be necessary for certain career opportunities.
