Cons
Anything and everything. Shipt controls your life. They decide what offers you get and when. They choose new people over the seasoned ones and therefore the seasoned ones don't get orders to deliver. Their system is terrible and discriminative. Their customer service is awful. When you ask a question they reply to it with something completely irrelevant. When you complain, they send you answers that absolutely doesn't help you understand the situation. Very shady. The money is terrible. The base pay is small so you have to rely on tips but the customers don't like to tip. They want their orders shopped and delivered but they don't want to pay for it. So while they get their food, we don't eat bc we don't get paid.... It isn't fair. Working for $6.00 is not fun. Shipt doesn't pay for gas or car maintenance or mileage. When you have customers that value you, hold on to them because they are rare. But those customers can also choose other people to be their shoppers so there are occasions when you don't even get to pick up the order because someone else grabbed it already. This is a very unstable work and super upsetting company who loves to cause confusions and upsets on many levels. Not recommended.
