Pros

I loved this job, always believed it was given to me by God. I moved for this job. I love working with the older population.

Cons

In fear of losing revenue if the paperwork isn't 'just right', a big push to use their boxed phrases, and to set goals in order to receive reimbursement; not always suited for patient's actual needs or to realize potential capabilities, in case it doesn't work out ie: pt. unable to achieve goal they advertise to be spiritually based, but on the inside, they don't act it, and often employees are stretched beyond their limits to do more than their job description daily; the mental and physical fatigue factor is huge

Pros

Complex patients keeps my nursing skills honed.

Cons

Corporate office leadership has lost sight of their core values. They are quick to make personnel changes without considering the overall impact to the facility. Excessive micromanagement. Some of the best talent has left due to 180 degree turn in ethics since change in top management. Claim to be a family but don’t value people.
