E-Commerce fraud protection is a competitive industry to be in. Which makes proposing our product fairly competitive when it comes to pricing. Most of your money will be made by outbounding your own prospects versus what comes through via inbound.
I agree - the competitive nature of our industry is definitely one of the most challenging parts of working here. I've been working at Signifyd a little less than six months now and I can't say enough good things about the company, my team, and the culture. The culture really is reflective of the company values, and someone is always willing to jump in to help. I regularly communicate with people in other departments and everyone is responsive and friendly. Benefits are good (unlimited PTO, 401k match, etc) and pay is standard for the industry. I've been really happy with the 4-day workweek, I always feel rested and appreciate the extra day for appointments and errands. Onboarding was relatively structured but not rushed, I did not come from an e-commerce or fraud background but was able to quickly and comfortably come up to speed. The overall environment is supportive for learning with plenty of opportunities for growth. The product is excellent with strong go-to-market fit which makes the customer success and support role easier, it's not difficult to demonstrate value to our customers and the product is constantly improving. Leadership is transparent in all-hands meetings about the upcoming months and what we can expect, as well as honest in reflection on past performance.
