Pros

- The market insights industry is very attractive. You will work with major brands and the projects are very interesting. - The company pays pretty well and commission accelerators are very great if you hit your targets. If you work outside of GTM (marketing, product…) you will get very little recognition and awards

Cons

Well, where to start…. ? - Remote Work : The CEO hates remote work, blaming it for the poor results of the company and single-handedly decided to impose some days in the office. HR will tell you that they have a hybrid policy but actually they have implemented a compulsory 3-day at the office policy : Monday - Wednesday - Friday. The company is going backwards and they don’t realize they are losing people because of this - CEO : The CEO is a very toxic and bossy person with no long-term vision. He knows his company is not performing well but he keeps blaming teams instead of blaming his top-down decisions. It looks like he is the only person deciding and all C-levels are too afraid to question him. He keeps adding more changes to processes and roles, while people need stability to perform. He thought he could be Mark Zuckerberg by doing an IPO, but he wasted all the money in a brand new HQ in Tel Aviv with a 1-star chef serving food at lunch, but is now facing the consequences of being public in a downturn and cuts budgets everywhere. - HR : HR is a joke, HRBPs will constantly speak about caring about each other, taking opinions into account, personal development, while they are actually soulless minions who will fire you or turn down your requests with no emotion. For example, they will put a lot of pressure on people to participate to a useless but compulsory “career week ” the week right before massive layoffs (true story) - Teams : there are great people but teams are totally depressed by the poor sales results and increasing pressure from the clueless management. The company is imposing some changes in many roles and people are not happy with that. A lot of people are quitting or fired, so teams are not stable at all and understaffed. Looking at the average tenure on Linkedin it is alarming. - Product : The Product used to be very attractive and “sexy” to sell. It is still very interesting to use but it is harder and harder to keep clients (even harder to get new ones) and the solutions are very expensive so clients start to question the relevance of the products. There is very little transparency on the data, plus the accuracy and what you can do with the insights is actually very limited. The data is still heavily desktop based while companies need insights and mobile and app traffic. - Middle Management : they usually have no decision power and are just machines reporting sales performance without knowledge about the products or about the clients

Pros

Awesome product, competitive comp, large market and good internal culture with solid middle leadership.

Cons

Top leadership can sometimes be seen as reactionary and removed from the market and customers. They are great with product but not necessarily with GTM or investing in growth broadly.
