Pros
1. Amazing culture - Everyone is helpful. Lots of learning opportunity. No micro management. Each person is trusted to do the work that he/she/they is(are) hired to do. 2. Flexible timing - You just need to complete the work assigned to you with good quality in a timely manner. No one cares what time you log-in or log-out. 3. Great work-life balance. 4. No calls scheduled after 5 PM. Very rare to have calls scheduled after 5 PM unless you are on-call-support. 5. Flat Hierarchy 6. Hybrid working 7. Great Pay and Benefits. 8. Frequent Socials 9. Lots of employee engagement activities.
Cons
1. Lot of meetings. There were days when I was in back-to-back meetings for the entire day and then I had to extend after working hours to finish my daily work. 2. There's a central system for HR where we need to raise tickets to get the issue resolved. Sometimes it becomes difficult to get a hold of a single point of contact at HR to resolve the issue. 3. Sometimes bureaucracy gets in the way of fast decision making. 4. There are certain powers given to line-managers that can affect the career of their direct reports. I feel it's too much power to be given to a single person, especially if that person is not a good people manager.
