Pros
* Work with intelligent, highly-skilled people and have every tool at your disposal that you need to succeed.
* Lots of potential for upward mobility. Good incentives for moving up.
* A well-defined company culture within an organization that really feels like it has your back and is building itself up in a way that can people appreciate.
* Excellent leadership at the top, especially the CEO.
* Meaningful work.
I worked on a high-performing team with some of the brightest people I've ever known. It was challenging, but looking back I can't imagine going through life without experiencing this. My team set aggressive goals and usually reached them. This sometimes meant really stretching to get there, which is why I say it was challenging. The co-workers I had, the growth I experienced, and the compensation made it 100% worth it. It was also really rewarding to see the company set aggressive goals and very often meet or exceed them. Winning feels good. I worked here longer than any other company on my résumé and am so proud of the things I accomplished during that time.
Cons
* On-call shifts sometimes made it hard to get normal/adequate sleep.
* My post-SoFi life left me wondering if maybe I left a little too soon. Adjusting to my next opportunity wasn't easy.
