Pros
Worked there from 2000 to 2003. I learned a lot about the magazine distribution business. I learned a lot about dealing with bulk distribution and multiple types of retailers. I was able to sharpen my skills in Excel, payment negotiations, and problem resolutions.
Cons
At the time I worked there the processing of customer credits was incredibly slow. The accounting system was often slow and unable to carry the workload. Too many manual changes were being made on the individual product line to differentiate from the multiple vendors, at the time of customer returns the credits couldn't be calculated correctly and in turned caused a lot of manual calculation with Excel sheets.
