Pros

I’ve met some amazing co-workers here. Incredibly friendly and approachable people that look after each other. Overall relaxed work environment. A wide spectrum of dress (from casual to business formal). Lots of free food from meetings. New efforts to encourage company bonding and outside of work socializing.

Cons

Management is a mess, despite Kohlberg & Company acquiring majority ownership of Amendia in April. “Good ol’ boys who don’t know what they’re doing!” Company culture is very much a boy's club, especially in sales and engineering. High-level execs – one individual in particular -- seem to constantly get away with unprofessional and extremely offensive work behavior. Their acquired products are pointless/mediocre and do little to bring in revenue. Most implants and screws are “me too” products that lack innovative features. Constant lack of communication and basic managerial competence to the point of absurdity. Employees are overworked and underpaid. Apart from the little information given in quarterly meetings, most employees don’t know or understand what new developments are occurring, and have to find out through hearsay. Keeping employees in the dark, coupled with new budget cuts, layoffs, and constant restructuring doesn’t help employee morale or loyalty. **An overall disappointing work experience. Definitely avoid.**
