Pros
The employees are all very bright and (most) are passionate about what he or she does. The people who have been there for a longer period of time love their jobs. You get good training from your supervisors (this depends on how organized your account is), so you learn quickly even if you have little to no experience in the industry. Also, the casual dress code, free food all the time, and the decent holiday and flex days off are nice benefits. Great social and team events as well.
Cons
Super long work hours for pretty low salary (which is why the employee turnover is constant and many teams are understaffed), thus a pretty bad work/life balance. This job is very mentally and physically draining if you're not passionate about it or advertising in general. Additionally, it's hard being a POC in digital media as you are often targeting other communities of color for their "purchasing power," because you know, POC are monolithic audiences and all think the same (this is an industry-wide issue).
