Pros
Nice office and people outside of the management are good people
Cons
During this MCO period, the leadership team and specifically our CEO exposed themselves to be focused on only one thing, results. Unfortunately at the expense of the employees well-being. People who worked so much during MCO had their work criticised and ridiculed in front of the whole company and called out by the CEO, CEO fought with our own vendors we partnered with and it was shown to the company that we were nothing but a means to an end for them. No appreciation for the work done, no consideration for how these troubling times can affect our physical and mental wellbeing, and they think that if they pay you, they can get you to do whatever they want no questions asked. They talk all the time about wanting the best of the best at StoreHub, but if you are the best of the best, and have your choice about which company to work for, I guarantee you StoreHub is far from it. Not only have senior leadership members left or resigned, but key people that were seen as high performers have also left. Why, because we know the leadership team doesn't care about anyone but themselves. If the leadership team and company are not loyal to it's people, especially in hard times like now, there's no way people should be loyal to them. For the leadership team and specifically for the CEO, you are only valuable if they can get something out of you, but after that you're discarded and the hard work you've put in before means nothing. CEO is the worst of all because he is a do as I say not as I do type of person. He says monthly reviews are important, but rarely did it. He says coaching is important but can't coach someone to save his life. He says that employees need to constantly reflect to improve, but I bet the only thing he reflects on is how many people go to his blog.
