My time at SumUp as an Account Executive was a truly valuable chapter in my career. She’s an exceptional leader — intuitive, empathetic, and deeply in tune with her team. Her leadership was a game changer for me. The role itself isn't easy — as expected in a sales position, you’re responsible for generating your own leads, cold calling, and walking into businesses. What made it all worth it was knowing that leadership at SumUp sees and values hard work and authenticity. When you put in the effort and show up as your genuine self, it’s recognized — and that made a huge difference in my motivation and performance. You are rewarded as well for performance that is solely activity based which was a huge motivator for me in months where I struggled to hit quota or when I first started building my pipeline .
