Pros
you get to see with some good new technologies like hadoop, cassandra, chef.
Cons
the infrastructure is very chaotic and outdated, they have a lot of dead technologies that they are trying to kill. They just started with automation so certain environments are still maintained manually. Everything happens very slowly, they dont have root ssh access because ldap is not properly synced with Active Directory and the spin of virtual machines happens through libvirt+cobbler+kickstart with an awful lot of manual steps and no live migration.
