Pros

In the past I would not have recommended SysAid to someone considering a sales career, but all that has changed. A strong head of sales came in a while back and promised a ‘culture of success’ which has now become a reality. The sales team are well-lead at all levels, valued, rewarded and can develop skills quickly. CEO is quirky as hell, but somehow there’s a special culture that comes from this. A little anti-corporate, some people like it, some don't. Good benefits; wellness days and social events. Office is rough (rumoured to be changed soon) but very positive, fun vibe when the sales team are in.

Cons

The company has been in long-term denial about its out-of-date product and sadly blamed sales for the results. All that will hopefully change with a next-gen release coming soon. Head of sales is the best I’ve worked for. It’s just that he’s located remote from most of the team.

Pros

HR does a good job. There is a wellness day once every 2 months and salary is good. Product team also does a good job.

Cons

The software is very old and complicated. Move to modern technologies such as micro-services is very half-baked and messy. Work environment is very unstable with people being fired or resigning quite often. Poor code quality, poor development practices, impatient management.
