Cons
Hours are long, doesn't matter what function and especially in TD or leading edge fab expect it. After seeing this in multiple companies and countries the hours here aren't longer than anywhere else. Come if you want to do similar hours, but be at the winner! The culture is hierarchical, extremely disciplined, and focused. The business drives fast daily pace and relentless focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Some would like to say it is Far East or Taiwanese. I'd say it is TSMC unique as it is company specific that has resulted in competitive edge and world wide domination. Certainly not for everyone, nothing comes without a tradeoff.
