Pros

Your split shifts allow you to get out and enjoy the sun on your working days, plus you get a full day and a half off in the week (though not consecutively). You get to work in a busy town with lots of tourists, seasonnaires, and activities around you. You don’t need to know another language to get by as everyone will speak English both guests and local workers. Staff accom is decent but no Wifi. Get food in hotels if you are lucky

Cons

Lots of pressure to hit sales targets, lots of complaints to deal with depending on the hotel you get, some hotels’ staff are reluctant to help while others will happily do so, so it’s luck of the draw. Work-life balances isn’t great you are always planning your days around your two shifts (AM and PM) and don’t have much energy left to enjoy the social aspects of being abroad. No holidays given unless you have a good reason ie family visiting. Poor management
