Pros

The people you meet are the biggest pro

Cons

Where do I even start? I would strongly advise against working here, especially if you have a family or require any level of work-life balance. The company offers virtually no flexibility. When I submitted a flexible working request, it was rejected with the excuse that because other employees already had arrangements in place, they couldn't accommodate mine. There was no willingness to consider individual circumstances or find a reasonable solution. The culture is relentlessly focused on sales. The pressure to sell is constant, unrealistic, and exhausting. No matter how hard you work or what results you achieve, it never seems to be enough. Support from management is practically non-existent, yet expectations continue to increase. The handling of employee wellbeing is equally disappointing. The company spent money sending me to Occupational Health, only to completely ignore almost every recommendation provided. To make matters worse, discussions about these recommendations took place in meetings without me present, and I was simply informed afterwards what they supposedly could and couldn't do—which, according to them, was virtually nothing. This felt disrespectful and completely undermined the purpose of the Occupational Health process. Performance improvement plans appear to be used less as a development tool and more as a way of managing people out of the business. That was certainly my experience, and ultimately it succeeded because I chose to leave. Looking back, leaving was one of the best decisions I've made. The "homeworking team" is sold as a fantastic opportunity, but the reality is very different. Micromanagement is extreme. You're monitored constantly and can't even step away for five minutes to use the toilet or get a drink without being questioned about your whereabouts. During training, you're told the importance of taking regular screen breaks, yet in practice these breaks are virtually impossible to take due to workload and monitoring. Overall, this company sells employees a dream that simply doesn't match reality. The lack of flexibility, poor support, disregard for employee wellbeing, excessive micromanagement, and relentless pressure make it a place I would not recommend to anyone. Also there is no opportunity to progress unless your "face fits"

Pros

TUI Airways is the best paid in the Industry in the UK. Basic pay increases on scales each year. Generous overtime is occasionally available at £350 to come in on your time off.

Cons

It’s a combination of short haul and short haul. The short haul flights are extremely busy with near to full passenger loads ,
